Kubota: Resource-saving efficiency

Kubota: Resource-saving efficiency

Kubota's agricultural technology is resource-saving and of high quality.

It all began with the manufacture of drinking water pipes: Gonshiro Kubota founded the Kubota company in Osaka, Japan, in 1890. The portfolio was soon expanded and in 1922 the company introduced its first engine. The agricultural machines for which Kubota is particularly well known today were added to the portfolio from the 1940s onwards. To this day, Kubota is particularly proud of its in-house foundry, where all crankcases and cylinder heads for engine construction still originate. Here you can find out what makes Kubota machines so special and what applications they are suitable for.

Which machines does Kubota sell?

Kubota offers machines for four major areas of application: Agriculture, grounds maintenance, construction and industrial engines. Its tractors are particularly well known in the agricultural sector: The classic standard tractors of the M series are the company's flagship. However, Kubota also has a number of compact tractors in its range. In addition, the company also sells suitable attachments such as plows, mulchers and mowers.

Kubota is also known for its lawn and grounds maintenance machines: Numerous lawn mowers and tractors are part of the Kubota range, so that every sector from private users to local authorities or sports clubs can find a suitable machine. In the construction industry, Kubota mainly sells excavators, wheel loaders and track dumpers.

What are the benefits of Kubota machines?

Anyone expecting Kubota agricultural machinery to be cheap, poor quality products is very much mistaken: since the company was founded, Kubota has stood for robust, durable technology with consistently high quality. These standards are Kubota's top priority right from the planning and production stages. Many components are still manufactured in the company's own foundry in order to maintain a consistently high standard of quality.

But innovation is not neglected at Kubota either. In line with the company motto “For Earth, for Life”, the company focuses on developing solutions that conserve resources as much as possible. This includes not only the production of particularly durable technology, but also the development of low-emission solutions. In addition to particularly fuel-efficient engines, Kubota is also working on hybrid technologies or engines that run on alternative fuels such as hydrogenated vegetable oil or hydrogen. Agricultural technology with electric drive is also already part of Kubota's product range.

Kubota has also made it its mission to design its machines in such a way that they make people's everyday work easier. This starts with simple points such as an optimally equipped driver's cab through to the first autonomous tractors. TIM (Tractor Implement Management) on Kubota tractors enables the implement to control certain tractor functions automatically in order to achieve even greater work efficiency. At the same time, this reduces the driver's workload and increases comfort.

For which applications are Kubota machines suitable?

Kubota machines are suitable for a wide range of applications: From the all-rounder for yard and field work, to the powerful professional tractor, to the maneuverable specialist for orchards and vineyards, the brand impresses with a broad portfolio. In addition to tractors, Kubota also offers a wide range of attachments. Private individuals and local authorities will also find what they are looking for: Kubota offers them a large selection of compact tractors, transport vehicles and machines for grounds maintenance.
